# Changes to pricing in 2023

Over the past 12 months we have added so much value to EmailJS:
- Account Manager is amazing, many things can be automatically accessed right in the dashboard.
- Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is now the default security for the account.
- Refresh API Keys to change exposed keys.
- Multi-user access is ideal for managing team access.
As well as a large number of other changes and improvements for your user experience, API performance, and so on.
For us to continue to invest in making EmailJS better for you and the EmailJS crew, we need to increase our prices.
# Detailed information about the changes
Beginning February 10th, 2023:
- Prices will increase for new accounts that sign up for EmailJS, and for those that upgrade from a free to a paid plan.
- Existing customers on subscription plans will continue to pay
the current price for the next 6 months.
Customers with an annual subscription will have no change until the end of the billing cycle. - Existing customers on subscription plans who make changes (upgrades or downgrades)
will see the new pricing apply to their invoices.

# I don't need new changes to my Personal plan, how can I stay on the legacy plan?
Unfortunately, price changes are inevitable. Prices are rising everywhere and all the time, but in order to support our loyal customers, we have increased the quotas for this plan.
# Will I pay extra for my active yearly plan after 6 months?
No, it will not. After six months, the price will be the same for all existing customers. However, you will only see these changes on the invoice for the next payment.
